Our hoops for Hope fundraiser night for the Eyerman family was a total success! We ended up having 9 baskets and two other items that were made up of donations from companies and corporations to raffle off at the basketball game along with other fundraising activities like the chuck-a-duck, and selling T-shirts with Andrew's logo on it for the students and staff to wear. For this semester, my class decided to create a Cancer Awareness Night for our community. We were all sharing ideas and were reminded of a 6 year old in our community that is suffering from Cancer. We decided to do a Hoops for Hope game February 11th. All proceeds go to The Eyerman Family. Andrew Eyerman is a kindergartener at Sugar Creek Elementary School. He was diagnosed with cancer and his family needs our community support. We need to raise money for his family! We are doing a Chuck-a-Duck Table, Cheerleaders with buckets, and Raffle Baskets. We are doing 7 different types of raffle baskets that we have over $1500 worth of stuff inside. My partner and I are in charge of creating the family basket. It includes Strike Force Lanes Family Pass, Indianapolis Zoo Tickets, and 2 – 60-minute jump passes, 2 Sky Zone bracelets, and a Sky Zone mini football. The retail value on this is $43. Although this is a great turn out, we did actually call many other businesses that we weren't successful with. Mr. large also made t-shirt designs that we are selling. Short sleeves ($15) and long sleeves ($20). We ordered these shirts from my friend's dad, Jim Sleeth. He charged us $6 for each short sleeve shirt and $9 for each long sleeve shirt.
